Suppliers Comments
This is NOT a re-designed kit, but the same kit that was introduced in 1979, with a few minor changes. It is a re-release of the same old kit. Plans and instructions are not as complete as our new WWI kits. This kit is more for the experienced builder.

Appearing late in WWI, the parasol wing Morane A-1 was not a politically correct aeroplane for its day, it was in fact a "monoplane"! As every one knew a monoplane could never be built strong enough to withstand the stresses of aerial combat and the fact that the A-1 was fast, easy to fly and highly manoeuvrable had nothing to do with it. It was still a monoplane and as such was destined to obscurity due to its supposed lack of structural integrity. However, after the war the Morane A-1 did turn a few heads in aviation circles when Alfred Fronval set a record for the most consecutive loops pre formed in a single flight. He did 1,111 inside loops with his Morane A-1, not bad for an aircraft deemed structurally inadequate!
